Privacy, in plain language.

What we collect in the app

Account details. Your email address, a password (stored only as a secure hash) and the names you enter for your event, such as the couple's names.

Event content you add. Guest lists (names and, if you add them, email addresses, phone numbers, meal choices, table and RSVP status), tasks, budget categories and expenses, venue and date.

Photos and videos. Pictures and videos that you or your guests take or upload with the guest camera, together with the display name a guest chooses.

Purchases. Whether you have an active subscription or event pass, and the related purchase history. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see your card details.

Identifiers. An account ID that links your data and purchases to your account.

How we use it

Only to run the service: to sign you in, store and show your plans, send invitations you ask us to send, share photos with the people in your event, and unlock paid features. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.

Who can see event content

Your plans, guest list and budget are visible only to your account. Photos and videos in an event gallery are visible to the event organizers and to guests who open that event's link or QR code. Anyone with the link can open the guest camera, so share it only with people you invite.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to operate MariageApp: cloud hosting and a database for app data, object storage for photos and videos, RevenueCat to manage in-app purchase status, Apple for payments, and an email delivery provider to send invitations you request. They process data only on our behalf.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app under More → Delete account. This immediately deletes your account, events, guest lists, plans, budget and gallery records. To ask us to remove any remaining uploaded files or backups, or for any other data request, email privacy@mariageapp.com. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage that in your Apple ID settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

MariageApp is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Website

We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate visits. The planner download needs no account. Images you try in the website's camera preview stay in your browser. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, signup source, platform interest and signup time to send launch updates; ask us to remove it anytime.
